Hi There,

Today i set up a wireless network and now the PS3 has wireless internet access.
My main PC is plugged into the router.

Now, what i'd like to know is how do i send files to the PS3 from my main pc?

Ideally i would want the files im sending going straight onto the external 500GB WD USB drive that is connected to the PS3 but i dont know if this is possible. Do i have to send the file to the PS3 which stores it on its internal drive and then move it to the USB external HDD?

what program do i need to be able to do this?
Do i have to setup a network in WinXP?

Also, i would like to stream (media) content to the PS3. How is this possible?

Im a newbie at all this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

[EDIT 1] After some research i have installed Nero MediaHome. Configured it, turned server ON but when on the PS3 i search for media servers nothing shows up. Nor does MediaHome list it in its "devices" panel :(

I ******* hate this! Why cant things just work!

Everything working yesterday. Both PC and PS3 had internet access but this morning non of them can connect to the internet!
IE just saying "looking up page" and then just dies! :(

Unloaded Zonealarm but still no internet access. Im pulling my goddamn hair out :(

And before anyone asks, yes broadband and router are showing as having internet.

hi m8 best little prog ive used to do what your wanting is TVersity great for steaming, also lets you copy files to your ps3.There is a setting on ps3 to enable media sharing make sure it on.

I was thinking about doing this myself.
And a mate said something about a new WD Ext HDD with built in wireless so I would go down that route but thats because I havnt bought anything yet

Not much help I know
But A little bump anyhow cant hurt

I eventually got it sorted. Ditched Nero MediaHome rubbish and used WMP 11 instead. Worked first time without any problems at all. Think i'll stick with it.
Get full control with it.
I like the fact that i can Pause, FFD, RWD movies while they are streaming and like wise for audio :)
