Sending something to my girlfriend. Annoying vague thread title edited

chris_r i think the people need more information

What type of girl is she?
What does she like?
What does she find interesting?
What does she not like?
What would make her feel special?

If you were any kind of a boyfriend you would be able to answer the above questions yourself and find a suitable act to make her happy.

Shhh kids, keep it on topic!

Jen, do you think some flowers and a balloon would cost more then £30? Shame i don't have more, be cool to get flowers delivered, then turn up myself (before the flowers) with the baloon.

Jen, are you from Walton by any chance? I'm sure i have seen you somewhere (apart from your album online :P ) im from Toxteth btw.

I aint exactly rolling in cash; so kids, dont #### up in life and have no qualifications or job or you'll struggle.

C'mon now, everyone on here asks for advice on presents now and again.
When it comes to mother's day people don't respond with "she's your mum, you should know what she wants" etc.

Be nice!

£30 sounds quite expensive for what you're getting to me

I do know what makes her happy, but why send things i cn get locally when i can get some online advice and maybe broaden the available list.

Dude, if you ain't intrested in the topic then why bother trolling, its fricking annoying everything i try and do on here, someone, sometime goes against it. Jesus, and the internet is suppose to be some releaf or however you spell the damn word.

Well, you can get flowers on interflora for £20 and I've priced balloons before for around £15 (yeah steep!)

How about get the balloon delivered and then turn up with flowers that would cost a lot online but you could get a lovely bunch made up at your local florist for around £10. That'd keep within your budget.

I'm not from Walton nope, from Maghull. I'm sure there are many tall brunettes wandering around liverpool lol :p

Fact of the matter is that every girl is different and it takes time to know what she would want, chocolates and flowers are thoughtless escape plans.

I know a girl that hates chocolate and another who cries when she sees flowers because she remembers seeing them at her fathers funeral.

Women are dangerous psychopathic animals who are best avoided IMHO

Turning gay may be the answer for some, but Jen you have been a great help thanks :)

As for Maghull; i havn't been there for years. Im just chilling down here, doin ma thing. Much rather be there then here though, sure you'd agree.

Anyway, i may go with that idea of giving her a invitation of acceptance type thing, and then taking her pictures and for a meal nice chinese would do just fine, we have soom cool all you can eats

Nada problemo - I'm sure whatever you do will be nice :)

I agree, I think I'd take maghull over where you are :p but then home is home! I'd much prefer to live in Devon than here, but that's life!

Good luck with your surprise!!!

Just out of interest JenJay would you find the most pleasant surprise;

Flowers…
Chocolates..

Or something simple and thoughtful like him coming home with a mushy dvd and a big pot of your fav ice-cream?

?

Yeah the latter would be very sweet (or picnic in the park!) and I also like things like home-made cards or someone cooking for me etc :)
However, I love flowers a lot! Shame they die so quickly :(

Emm something along the lines of:

A plane sponge cake with a light cream filling and your favourite fruit preserve

A selection of light sandwiches randing from ham and mayo to fresh beef cuts.

A selection of cheeses and small finger foods to play and feed each other

And finally a bottle of fresh and sweet tasting new world wine, with two crystal glasses ready to wash it all down
