Just bought myself one of these as my old headset gave up

So far it is very nice =]

Just the base is a bit low on it

Very comfy indeed :)

Anybody ells have one of these?

How did they get the headphones in the package :|

You mean how did you get the headphones out of the package? ... that was one of the most difficult packaging to get around. Very nice overal package tho. Quality from start to finish.
As long as games makes use of spatial stereo then im very happy to never go back to 5.1 speaker setup.
People moan about not as good as the open seinheiser headphones.. but it need to be said they are a headset (heaphones and mic). I really like them and if u want more bass then obviously you can set up the EQ.

'Bit'... for the money paid it’s terrible, imo. :)

Purchased a set with intention to keep them, build quality is decent, comfy design and mic is very good etc - and yet the bass is non-existent along with average sound positioning. Returned them to supplier for exchange, which is something I rarely do with any product, so decided clip on mic with HD595's and turned out far better purchase, for me at least...

well, i have enjoyed them so far, and i dout i will send them back.

How would i? i can't even get them back into the box :-P i deffently need to have a tweak around to get the best sound out of them :)

Thought these would be great until i got them, sure they looked great and the build quality was good but everything else was crap and i had them up for sale within 24 hours.

As the poster above did i got some HD595's and a mic,100 times better.

Decided to buy some HD595 for regular music listening... used them on the PC and have to say i had to alter the eq to get the same sound as i had from the PC350 (i had enhanced the bass a tad for PC350). HD595 are a great headphones but comparing them to PC350 and its actually comparaing open to closed headphones.. they have different characteristics.
- Which is better for gaming... comes down to personal preference but im sticking with the PC350 for PC and HD595 for music. I mean clip on mic and open headphones so outside noise can interfere, no thanku. I've found out in a few games that players who have a headset i.e. with a mic positioned in front of mouth are always audible, whilst users with random mics be it clip on or desk often mean difficult to make out.. i recommended to some guy clip it on his nose so we could hear him!
Sound is personal thing afterall. I know some people put bass to max on there hi-fi and ignore midrange, this is not good for gaming as middle range is important.
Now if sienhieser produced the HD595 with the quality mic of the PC350 then that would be interesting.

I just got mines yesterday. I think they're awesome and very comfortable to wear. The bass is a little low on them, but i just simply turned up the bass on my creative sound settings and they sound great. The mic is very clear as well.

Yer tried the Speedlink Elara mic with my HD595s this weekend and I have to say it performed pretty much as I expected it would. Headphones are great, love them but........they are better suited to sitting and chilling out watching a movie or listening to music. Using the mic alongside them is cumbersome. It picks up all the background noise as I expected it would and I find it very frustrating having it clipped to my shirt.

Gonna stick with my PC165s for now but may well go for the PC350s soon.

im almost getting the hd595, got the elara mic couple of weeks ago to test it and it picks up my tv which is anoying, will it really pick up loads of sound from the hd595's?

Most of the time still use a set of PC161's for gaming if I require a mic, sadly the joy of my PC350's purchase was spoilt as I already had 595's to compare them with; and 595's do sound better + at the time iirc £20 cheaper. Oh and I prefer quality fabric ear cups over imitation leather, just personal preference. :)

No, Elara is the mic I purchased after people kept singing its praises on this very forum, imo it does the job if you set sound card settings spot on.
