I got a feeling that base on OP's comment and expectation so far, I wouldn't be surprise that even the Kingston XCloud II would be more to his liking than the Senn Game Zero.

he wants bass that is in your face.
i think he's best looking at basshead headphones. i think sony do a few good ones.
other than the fidelio x1/x2 which is open and he wants closed i don't know of any other bassy headphones.
there isn't a single sennheiser apart from their street urban range that are bass orientated so yes he has to stay away from sennheiser.

The bass issues I sorted by fiddling with the EQ in the sound card settings. May not be ideal but I got it to sound to my liking and the headset itself is extremely comfortable so I'll hold onto it. The only reason I got a new soundcard was because I moved the DGX into my HTPC.
I just wanted to know if the Fiio would improve sound quality at all, otherwise I'd continue with the return I have on it, which it seems like is the best idea.
