Looking at your system I would suggest getting a seperate DAC/Headphone amp or both and partnering it with some non gaming cans of your choosing.

I use a Beresford DAC/Headphone Amp and a pair of Grado SR80's, sound great for music and games once run in. As you already have a card that gives a fairly good analogue output, you might be ok with just a half decent headphone amp and spending the rest of your budget on some good cans.

How much do you want to spend by the way?

Probably not that much :p

HD555s will do the same job in games as the PC350s, have better sound quality for music and will also be a fair bit cheaper. If you want to step up a bit you could try the HD595's for around the same price as the PC350s, but I'm sure some experienced sound enthusiasts will be able to help you out a bit more than me.

The PC350s are not really crap for music, out the box yes they do sound rubbish.

I found by tweaking my sound card settings they sound fine for music, probably not as good compared to some of the high end headphones.

For a gaming headset they sound fine for music.
