Hi,

I came into a bit of cash and am considering an upgrade as I've noticed my CPU topping out when I stream games, and this seems to be causing lagging in my stream. I'm thinking about upgrading the CPU, the motherboard and possibly the RAM as well. My build and my current possible upgrades are listed below. I'm currently overclocked to 4Ghz.

Any comments welcome!

Current Build
1 - Inno3D GeForce GTX 980 "iChill Herculez X4 Air Boss Ultra" 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (C98U-1SDN-M5DNX)
1 - Crucial RealSSD M4 256GB 2.5" SATA 6Gbs Solid State Hard Drive (CT256M4SSD2)
1 - Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40GHz (Ivybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor (77W) - OEM

You can wait for the next gen processors or just get a good deal on the current skylakes. Judging by most recent Intel releases the performance jump between generations isn't massive and no doubt when it's released it'll cost more.

Personally, i'd wait and see what the new release is like and if the cost doesn't quite fit the performance gain you'll be able to save some cash by getting a skylake a bit cheaper.
