hello i was sent a return mobo by name removed and wonder where i stand.
when it arrived it had selotape on the box which i thought odd as they usually have the round tape but thought nothing to much about it,
When i opened it to put in the build the static bag was sealed with parcel tape (brown) and on inspecting the mobo and components firstly the plastic bag for the sata cables were opened and with no tye wraps and also a block for fitting case wires was also missing (i know this because i bought this same board from **** just the other week)
also the clear cmos pin was moved to clear from the default
Tried it anyway and yes it was faulty
what i would like to know how this is possible and has anyone ever had the same and how to go about returning it as i am fuming and wasted artic silver and about 20 tie wraps + a lot of time with cable management etc
Please don't mention competitors, the name of the retailer doesn't actually matter for the issue at hand. If you are unclear then have a read of the FAQ. Thank you.
