I went to Costco on the weekend and bought some chicken and pork. I meant to separate them before freezing but stupidly forgot. I don't want to cook all the meat at once because its about 4kg! Are there any techniques out there to do this other than attacking it with a sharp knife?

You only hope is safely using a sharp knife as a wedge. Good luck though...

I think I'd be cooking it all to make lots of meals to put back in the freezer for future dinners and lunches.

Use a blunt knife rather than a sharp one, makes it much less likely you'll accidently remove any parts of yourself.

Ice+Sharp Knife+Force = ????

lol, just realised how stupid it would be to go at it with a sharp knife, surprised that one didnt occur to me sooner.
Will have a go with a blunt utensil and dropping it on the floor (in a plastic bag).

I bought half a lamb, all in one pack and stupidly put it in the freezer as is. That will be fun to get apart! (It is butchered, not an entire one piece half lamb)

So now I pack them up in to servings before freezing.
