There are quite a lot of questions to be asked about that day, most of these videos do a very poor job at explaining anything however.
The thing I find most frustrating about it all is people who think they're the first person in the world to have thought of it.

People were reporting all kinds of stuff that day. It means nothing.
I can't say I remember the false reporting to the extent of 40+ storey buildings being destroyed, definitely not so long after the actual event. I remember loads of hysteria and "unconfirmed reports" about more incoming planes on various news programmes but they were all tainted with the common word "unconfirmed". That report pretty much evolved around the Saloman Brothers building collapsing and it seemed to be reported as fact. Losing the transmission link? I actually can't remember the last time I've watched the news and the transmission link has been lost whilst the report was carried out in a building in a country such as America. Hardly compelling evidence but strange none the less.

Yes that is the truth. It is also the truth that journalists are not perfect and might make mistakes from time to time like not knowing which one the collapsed building was and overhearing that it was 7. It is also the truth that it would be highly idiotic to inform one of the world's largest corporations about a something on this scale so even if the conspiracy theories were true, the BBC would know nothing about it. Think about it, you don't want people knowing therefore telling a journalist about what you are planning to do would make no sense.

Shame a lot of the people who come in here can't have a normall discussion but spam & moan. I clicked the first 2 links Jotun, and your last one, and everything is filled with the same rubbish and spam as here, is there a nice 911 thread having a discussion with all the people that don't like it staying out ?
If you guys wouldn't spam this much we could perhaps have 1 single 911 thread by now, but it's impossible to do anything in the others, and now this one, because of a lot of the posts being spam...
Perhaps also ban all the ''spec me'' threads, surely someone can search for it, and find a thread about someone with the same criterea and budget etc... And ban threads about the same games and make 1 official thread for every game and console and keep discussions in there only?

Ok, I watched it, I'll admit that I don't really subscribe to the whole conspiracy theory with regards to 9/11. My own personal opinion is that the only conspiracy that took place was after the attacks when the US intelligence agency's tried to cover up for their own mistakes when they should have reacted quicker to threats picked up before the attacks.
Having said that, I tried to keep an open mind, but honestly, the video did not change my opinion at all. All I see is a dark smudge on the underside of one aircraft that could be anything. And as for flashes, sorry, but it looks to me like the're caused by the impact of an aircraft into the side of a building. I'm no expert, but I'm certainly not surprised there is a flash, I mean at the point of impact those planes are probably going several hundred miles per hour straight into the buildings. So I find that this film provides no evidence that anything strange took place that day imho.

The fact is that there are many key points to 911 that suggest a cover up etc on the part of the American government, but the above theory and the 'no plane theory' just detract from it, almost as though the government are perpetrating such lunatic ideas (i'm not saying that's the case at all, just a possibility).
I don't really want to get into the whole 911 debate because I think it's pointless on this forum.
There is no proof that the US carried out the attack but there is a mass of evidence to point to the fact that the US knew an attack was imminent and did nothing. Now you can either believe this was on purpose or it was total incompetence.
However the fact I always come back to is the fact the head of the FAA testified in front of the 9/11 commission and said he believed there was some kind of stand down order. There is video of him testifying to this but his words were censored and never made it into the final report.

while there clearly are some murky areas with regards to what intelligence was held before and especially the way things were handled that day, blowing the conspiracy theories up to the level of the government having caused the planes to explode etc just detracts from it. maybe one day we'll find out that the government planned the whole thing and managed all the press coverage
but i think it's a lot more likely that they maybe knew more than they should have about a terrorist plot and are trying to cover up the fact that they essentially let it happen
it's a nice little fairytale world to go into where the government is like that in 24, but realistically i dont think that's the case
