Looking for some series to watch..

From the top of my head what I currently watch/seen;

In my own opinion I think you watch a load of rubbish.

Try

Wallander ALL (Sweedish version)
The Killing 1,2 & 3 (Danish Version)
Spiral 1,2, & 3 (French)

as a start
 
I finished Star Trek Deep Space 9 last night, go watch that.

Best star trek and is actually good unlike some of the stuff on the list :p

If you think I watch rubbish then the chances are I'm going to think what you watch is rubbish.

And to add I have no intention of watching foreign series.
 
I'd just look at one of the other threads or even the IMDb top 250's as you'll just get all the same recommendations.
 
Yeah, but looking at the top 250 then it's basically all the 'known' series, used this to try to get some of the less known series that people may like and recommend :p
 
My point was that there are a few thread on here just like yours that are chocka block with all the recommendations you could ever need, it's not as though your watched list is specific... it's practically every genre :p

You can also refine IMDb top lists and they'll pull up way more than 250. For example this search is of every TV show with the Crime genre that has at least 1000 votes in descending order, it pulls up 272 http://www.imdb.com/search/title?ge..._series&num_votes=1000,&sort=user_rating,desc and if you want more results lower the number of votes from 1000 to whatever

Just change the crime bit in the url to whatever genre TV show you're looking at, but for words like Sci-Fi use sci_fi ie http://www.imdb.com/search/title?ge...0,&sort=user_rating,desc&title_type=tv_series
 
Warehouse 13, Haven (both silly SyFy series but I like them), The Unit (is awesome), Breakout Kings (made by the same people as Prison Break).

Will look up them later, never liked look of the wire (sure that's the show constantly advertised on Fx?)

The walking dead, not similar to any on your list, but then again Dexter isn't similar to The big bang theory :)

Definitely, great series, the better half and i got hooked on it, and there's a fair few things in your original list me and the missus watch too.
