GTX560 no, but if you are talking GTX570 vs GTX480 overclock, I think the luck on getting a decent core or not plays a bigger part in it.I take it once you overclock the GTX 480 the 560Ti and 570 have no chance of keeping up?
The 570 can also overclock to almost 580 stock speeds. Just like the 480. The best thing for the 480 is that it has more VRAM which is necessary for things such as higher resolutions and AA. It has been proven that games such as Stalker and Metro can easily eat through 1280MB (570 memory size) at 1920x1200 with AA maxed out.
lol this just hit me...
Rather than spending £270 to £300 on a GTX570 or GTX480 plus Zalman VF3000-F (which would void the warranty with removing cooler), wouldn't it be better to get the GTX480 at £200, and spend the remaining £70~£100 on a decent gaming headset? (assuming people already got a PSU up to the job)![]()
It is only bound to get worse with games such as Crysis 2 coming soon. I even dare to say that for £200 a 480 would be my pick from all the cards available at the moment.
Shame I have a 6950@70![]()
Well, if you want a 480 for less than £200 here you go

Get a 480, with my cards clocked, they get almost the same fps at overclocked 580's
