Serious Reconsideration

Also should I do a test book outside of the case, and last question for 10mins is, the 650D has a backplate for changing the Heatsink bracket, should I mount the cpu and ram outside of the case then do the CPU Cooler in case or out case?

Definitely build and test outside the case! Something ALWAYS goes wrong (for me at least - others may not be quite as cack-handed:p)! If everything turns on fine and gets to POST then you can lift the whole thing as it is and just whack it in the case.

We established I would like 24 hours ago :p

Should I buy an anti static wrist band or not?

I have my wooden desk that I can clear most things off.

You can get away with not using an anti static wrist band if you're careful (take care what you touch, frequently discharge any static from yourself by touching the case, avoid wearing any clothing that will generate static......) but if you trashed several hundred pounds worth of kit for the sake of a few quid you would be a little unhappy.

I don't think OCUK stock 'em, is an anti static mat worth it?

Get the wrist band in ******s for about 8 quid. They also stock anti-static mats for 12.

The mat, IMO, is probably OTT if you use the wrist band and take the precautions I mentioned earlier. The guy in the Newegg video on Youtube didn't use anything apart from care.

I'll get one then, so I just clip it to the case then discharge myself and I should be good?

Also I could drop £20 off the price if I went for a MSI ATI Radeon HD 6870 OC HAWK 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card over the 6950, would that be a good call? People say that XFX are rubbish with RMA?

You would be losing a fair amount of performance (check out the graphics card tables in Tom's Hardware). Buy a different 6950 if you don't rate XFX.

How about this

Edit: @Spydell toooo expensive

Did you see the gtx 570 i showed you? its £205.99 i don't understand how thats too expensive when you just showed me a 6950 at £200
Granted the gtx 580 might be a little over budget but thought you might like to see it as its at a very good price.

Hear hear. I bought a gtx 570 a week ago that cost me £270. Wish I'd waited a while :(

Ok so my PSU says CPU 4+4 Pin x 1 but yet the motherboard takes an 8 Pin adapter, does that mean the cable it two 4 Pins? Or do I need a different PSU?
