Seriously!!

The car was last seen reversing into the boathouse. When asked what colour the boathouse was, the Police declined to comment.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw a car hit a gatepost of a house in Hereford over the weekend.

The metallic blue car damaged the post on the junction of Sheridan Road and Clivedon Grove between last Friday (Dec 24) and Sunday (Dec 26).

The driver failed to stop to report the collision

More important things to deal with me thinks??

Not if it was your gatepost

People complain when police appear to do nothing and complain when they do. It hardly takes any time or effort to issue a statement.

Exactly.

What may seem minor to some may be the world to someone else.

It's a hit and run at the end of the day and requires investigation and issuing a press release takes very little time to sort.

Be it a member of the public or local taxpayers, someone will be out of pocket as a result of the damage.

Not everybody in Hereford is in the S.A.S lol

It's hard to tell, they are not your action hero looking type. A friend's step dad is in the SAS and you wouldn't know he's one in a million years, the man likes gardening for a start!

I see.

I would have thought they would have set charges on the windows, detonated them and come swinging in with a dramatic explosive back drop before rolling on the deck, standing up and the counter and saying.

' Regular latte please. '

:D

My mate's dad is ex Regiment albeit he was in around the time of the Aden campaign in the late 60s.

When at his house, we would often sneak a look at his regimental blazer.

He never stood out in a crowd and rarely spoke about his time in there other than when he said he was barred from ever entering Belgium on pain of imprisonment. He never did say why.

As I live in Hereford I know quite a few ex-regiment guys. Normal down to earth people (most of them). 1 bloke I know has all kinds of weapons he used on his office wall, including whips.
