seriously?

You mean the video is all the worst responses (of which there were likely thousands that were correct) edited together, which you could do pretty much anywhere in the world and make them appear dumber than they actually are.

Then again, you fell for it so maybe we're that dumb as well.

They probably 'interviewed' about a thousand people and just kept the ten or twenty that said something stupid. You can find people that would respond in a similar fashion in any country.

Classic video :D

Americans have been simultaneously the smartest and downright dumbest people I have ever met... sometimes even both at the same time.

I know it's fake, but it makes me angry that I'm twelve and these 'adults' don't know anything..
My 3 year old cousin knows more than that...

Sums it up pretty much.

Isnt it obvious how this is edited to make them look dumb?

i mean, obvious thing is obvious, they are asking 2 questions, showing you only the first question and then editing in all the answers to the second (opposite) question you never heard.

add in a couple of really dumb people for credibility and you're set.

sorry but I happen to believe those shown are that dumb, and yes we have equally thick people living here.

take this as an example.

It's probably edited to make them look stupid but if random questions was asked in the UK I bet you would get the same outcome.

There are a lot of things in the world that confuse people and this is one of the problems that I think is going about now. Too much confusion.

If I am totally honest I get stuck on a lot of those questions.

Why does it make you angry? Why does it matter that some people in a country that is quite some distance from us are not all that knowledgeable?

I could sort-of understand being angry about people just down the road not knowing much. That would reflect badly on your neighbourhood. But how empty does your life have to be to get all het up about a few Americans being as dumb as a box of rocks?

It's not just the Americans though! the UK has it's fair share of problems!

Absolutely it does. Which is pretty much my point - by all means feel angry that people in this country don't know ****, but why get angry about some Americans knowing nothing?

It's pointless, unless you're so insulated that there is literally nothing else to get angry about.

It's not quite being dumb, although there are a lot of dumb people, it's just ignorance.

America is so big and awesome there's no real point in learning or caring about other places. There's no reason to ever leave here. I think other countries have an inflated sense of importance.

Newsflash: nobody in America gives a **** about NZ or the UK. Why bother learning about it? What's the point? I'm being serious, what's the point? I can go to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, desert, tundra, mountains, tropical, plains, anything... and still be in America.
