Serrrious help plz

building my 1st pc today set it all up after a lot of hours..hit the switch no power..checked the psu on my current pc working fine..not entirely confident i hooked up all the right wires to the right places..tried moving around a few mostly the power,reset switch...still nothing..my specs are...
gigabyte p35c-ds3r
silverstone strider st40f
e2180
artic cooling freezer pro
antec nine case
geil 2gb 6400
wd 250gb

It could well may be the reset/power/hdd light cables not plugged in right.

Does the motherboard manual have instructions on where they should be placed?

Yeah I've got the same mobo/case combination as you (as well as CPU and fan, it overclockers great

), and instructions come with both the case and the mobo. I think I had to gooing back and forth from each manual to get them in the right place though.

as said above check you have the power swith from the case going to the right pins on the MB. They are directional also (i.e. + and -). Its easy to get them the wrong way around
