server has ground to a halt. times out a lot when pinging it

not sure what to check on perfmon, to check the network activity.

help

daft question, is it still on as we had a client who had a problem and it wasnt until they checked and the power cable had come out of the box.

aye im not completely daft lol. doesnt seem to be any switch problems or network cable etc. no errors at all. browsing to it has slowed right down and running multimedia from it is just taking forever

think ive solved it. thanks for the help.

i recently downgraded a domain server to a member server, for some reason after i swithced that off the problems went away. anyone any idea why it would be slowing the network down so much.

its still part of the AD but i didnt think it would matter?

other possibilty is that the c: drive had 500mb of space left
