Server 2008 R2 install problem

Grab that, pick the relevant UEFI or BIOS download and see what it says. You might have dodgy hardware.

Not tried another monitor yet no, although I had Ubuntu running from CD last night on this machine without any issues, and Win7 Pro ran & displayed fine before I formatted the drive so I don't think the issue lies there.
 
Caged you were bang on, it was the monitor. Tried a 19" at work and it ran straight through to Server 2008 setup!

My monitor - Samsung 23" LED via VGA - works fine with my laptop, and I was running Linux Ubuntu on this PC with it last night without any problems, so I've no idea why Win7/Server 2008 setup didn't like it. Resolution too high perhaps?
