Hi all, So ive been running a microserver for about a year now but its starting to struggle to run what i need and i have also used the 4 drive bays up so if i wanted to carry on using it i would have to look into modifying the dvd drive for extra drives.
Ive been thinking about building this and would appreciate any input

Its uses will be as a HTPC in my room, but also running as the sever for backups, running sickbeard, sab and other programs and also a couple of VMS (for messing about with for uni) while also streaming media to other devices on the network (as you can imagine the microserver has been struggling massively!). I picked that I3 mainly because of the HTPC function with its 4000 built in graphics. I was wondering if their was anything maybe better for money with similar performance?
Picked that motherboard because it has to be a z77 for the 4000 graphics and because it comes with 8 stata ports and i need 5 straight away leaving me with 3 to expand into.
