Hi guys,

I've got a home server indoors, housing a standard ATX motherboard with some SATA controllers and 12 drives hooked up. The case has got several 5.25 inch bays, so I got some cheap 5.25 to 3.25 converters (5 drives in 3 bays). However, it's not elegant and there's nowhere to put cables so it gets quite messy.

Do you guys have any recommendations for cases that either have plenty of 5.25inch bays, or have lots of tidy 3.25inch drive mounts - hotswap bays are better if possible.

Cheers!! :)

For a desktop solution the Lian Li PC-D600 will fit 12 hard drives if you buy 3 hot swap cages for it. They are pretty neat looking....

Obviously you would need to go without the Optical drive to fit the 3rd cage in.
