Is there any windows feature that will allow me to see what a running service is currently doing? I'm having a problem at the moment where something is opening a port using uPnP on my PC, using TCPView i tracked it down to a svchost.exe, problem being is that many services are running on that process and i need a way to find out what service is opening the port using upnp as this has got me very worried at the moment about my pc security with this port open.
My friend recommended taskinfo, but after trying that program i got a blue screen of death, so am not touching that program ever again, ideally i would like something thats part of windows vista already to figure this out if possible.
