Surprising Hole in Space Discovered by Herschel Telescope

Full story

So before we all go dissapearing down a cosmic sink hole...we dropped 1 place in rac this week :(

Congratulations to the recent tiffy winners especially Mr br83taylor on his mega achievement 20,000,000 and a warm welcome to our 2 new team members :)

Team China is still easily within our reach dispite a hopefully temporary drop in production.

As allways any mistakes give me a slap and will correct asap, i tried different layouts and graphics etc but have been a bit pre occupied to go at it full tilt, any thoughts or ideas would be welcome :)

I know it sounds like the same old advice but..... i went to pieces a few weeks ago and one of the things that helped me get back on track was, wether i liked it or not was eating sensible stuff at decent times and figuring out what was really important to me.

Are you going to run the car then as in day to day what not now its all done?:)

I know what you mean hating sleep but ya body has a nasty way of making you feel like doo doo when it doesn't get what it wants - not unlike being married.

Cabrio sounds and looks good to me perfect time for it to come into its own, check your email thoroughly unless i have been junked lol :)

No worries have replied.

Is it just me or does it seem to have gone awfull quiet around these parts? Looking forward to stomping Team China at least and putting up my production this week :)

Thanks for the most hexellent news Mr TB. Objective achieved in Einstein, Mr Jagen is stomped.
Mr Russell will suffer the same fate in Rosetta in 5 days, but as that doesn't use GPU I will now resume full time Seti Cuda to frustrate Mr MI:p

:eek:Congratulations on your stompage Mr kolala sah ..... hmmmm i guess it wouldn't hurt to include some figures for rosetta and what not .....in the mean time i'm off for a format plus i wouldn't want to be around when Mr Marine wakes up to the news :D

:D Yeah right ho lol. I say Mr Meridian is really chucking out the wu's am thinking i need to do a car boot or something, these gpu's are taking forever to even out.
How is Mr Reaver this fine sunday morning?

True they are still a great card for seti. Am not waving my ewilly but i took the plunge on a gtx580 and when they say they run cool they mean it and so much quieter too. I assume the gtx 570 has the same vapour chamber cooling and what an improvement over the 480's, i can hear myself think again...well ok ramble incoherently but you get the idea.
There'll still be people waiting to bite your hand off for them, or even a few 1gb 460 oc ones cheap as chips mmmmm :)

580 on air 900/1800/2074 65% fan and 68 degrees pumps out 2 work units in just under 12 minutes and you cannot hear it over case fans :)

**you have a job thats what counts sah**

Your welcome Mr Edge sah :)

Now i know there have been reports of the gtx 590 going pop which i think is down to driver issues. Given that the 580 will take time to settle in and show its colours rac wise how do you reckon a 590 would fair?
Given a 580 is around £400 and a 590 £550-£600 but is not the greatest for overclocking is it even worth considering do you think?
Not that i can afford one just yet (am still on egg n chips from the last purchase) would be interested to hear what people think :)
Cheers peeps :)

Sounds like an awfull lot of work watercooling 3 x 295's you would still have to watercool the gubbins but if money was ok i would suggest a waterchiller, thats my next task.

:D Yeah am never to sure how to greet you morning/afternoon so will stick with morning :)
Nice climb with the rac sah i must say, i thought my 2nd rig was taking its time then i noticed the date in windows was 2078 and time in boinc was 17th april 1942 lord know whats happenned there i just kicked it, reset the time and now its downloading again
Am just waiting on some shiny shiny stuff to come Mr M then its off to post office :)
