It's been an excellent week for output with the help of our new members and the return of some of the faithfull we are only days away from stomping Team China.

A warm welcome to Gav Stefan and Clipre our newest team members :D

Now i know someone must have earned a tiffy this week, don't forget to check the team oc uk website link below and post your achievements for a mention in the news.
As things seem on the up its only fair we have an official "stomping" icon so post your pics/doodles and ideas.
Any mistakes or something not to your liking give me a slap and will put it right asap

"We've picked out the planets with nice temperatures -- between zero and 100 degrees Celsius [32 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit] -- because they are a lot more likely to harbor life," said University of California, Berkeley physicist Dan Werthimer, SETI@home's chief scientist.

After the 86 possible planets are scanned, the data will be offered to about a million people who are signed on to the SETI@home project, which allows them to help process SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) information using their home computers.

Thanks for the news Tbag :)

Interesting news articles 86 planets that could harbor life

Oh and damn 2nd again but a higher output than last week :) Might have to settle for that until upgrade time becomes closer.

Your welcome Mr M , interesting you mentioned something in your last post about your planned upgrade "unless something else is released" my Tbag radar has picked up the rumblings of something on tuesday possibly

Thanks for the news :)

I'll be crunching for seti again in a couple of days, I just need one more bigadv dump in folding to get clear of Sir-Les then I will move my 460s back over again.

..Now i know someone must have earned a tiffy this week..

Well just from looking at the top twenty and weekly dumpage numbers above I can work out that the following must have passed tiffy milestones this week..

meridian 37 million
reaveruk 22 million
baba 18 million
simon 15 million
pnutty 15 million

If teammates are too shy to show those whoppers what hope do we have of seeing anything more modest?

Thanks for the news Mr Teabag.

Your welcome Mr kolala sah, ok i give up will put a wee bit more effort in next week and publish the earned tiffy's even if they have not been posted, publish and be damned :)
After 20mil you only get one every 2.5 mil so Mr Meridian and Mr Reaver are close to their next tiffy but have not earned one this week.

**note to Mr Marine** if your thinking of ordering the msi gtx 570 in the near future take a close look at the pic i thought it would look nice n neat streamlined kindof, but i got the one with the go faster pipes on the side and the metal looking plate. Am going to install now, the ones i bought were the standard 732mhz but they have sent the overclocked 786mhz ones.
Great if your after a faster card but a bit of a let down if your thinking of a streamlined co-ordinated case

I am watching you like a hawk sah, tinkering to do now entering radio blackout see you all on the other side :)

Good news post Toxic...
Might go and have a look at those 86 planets myself - Im getting the silent treatment tonight, came home drunk last night and decided to cook - the kitchen was a state this morning and my beloved wasn't too impressed..
seemed like a good idea at the time :D

:D drunk cooking is always the best idea, few more stops on the dlr then i'll be cooking some pork chops :D

Man should be able to cook when he's hungry, less of course she would not have minded being woken up to cook it for you...lol thats you in the doghouse for a few days...escape into the garden sah :)
Am toying with getting a telescope :D

I'm back. Well, kinda. Life, Facebook, and whatever else means I don't spend much time here now, but thanks to TT for the thoughts.

Re: Team OcUK, I'm going to move it to much cheaper hosting sometime during June/July, so expect downtime. I'll try to remember to post before I move it. Hopefully that'll buy the site 12 months but beyond that depends on my job situation.

Just realised one of my GTX260's was downclocked too 400mhz been like that for weeks seeing as my rig hasn't had a shutdown since I put it in there  and both on default shader speed Do'h :( Will be keeping an eye on em now.
