A warm welcome to our 3 newest members VidX, Lemons_Mufc and Beanieboybob may your stay be a long and happy one, every wu crunched will be a welcome addition to the glorious rise of Team OcUk into the world top ten. :)

It's been a mixed week, we had the welcome addition of the new optimised Lunatics app 0.38 which solved gpu instability in cards using 266.58 and higher drivers.
The seti project has had a few unfortunate up's n downs which hopefully will level out soon enough, keep the faith fellow crunchers we shall prevail.
Right you 'orrible lot it's like trying to get meaningfull dialogue from the ruling Chinese government, we need a dab hand to create some new graphics logo's etc. Any ideas/contributions greatfully accepted, after a few weeks if we have a few solutions to hand the OcUk jury will preside over the most noteable efforts and there might even be a small prize so get cracking Team :)
As per usual any mistakes please give me a slap and will correct asap.

Cheers for the news Tbag, I should be back to normal production this week. :)

Should I install the new lunatics stuff if I'm not having any instability problems?

Your welcome sah :)
Yes i would go ahead and install as well as the stability solved theres a noticeable decrease in completion times .... not a lot .... but worth the upgrade :)

Cheers all upgraded, time for some stomping! (maybe) :D :p

Go for it could do with a little noise in here (besides Mr Marines snoreing).
*cannot resolve host name* one more re install then i'm off to bed this has me beaten
*rolls up sleeves...sticks a pot of coffee on...squints eyes and gives pc best clint eastwood make my day look*

Welcome Mr Chasser sah!
7 cups of coffee later and now all i need are some wu's to test out my theory ... hope i have it right :eek::mad::p:rolleyes::cool::(

I have done a fresh windows install and Boinc everything seems to be working correctly but am only receiving cpu work units. Would be interested in whats happenning with your setup chaps just to compare :)

Cheers for the news Tbag

All I am getting at the mo is no CPU work got plenty of GPU work the other day :)

25/06/2011 09:35:37 SETI@home Reporting 20 completed tasks, requesting new tasks for CPU
25/06/2011 09:36:04 SETI@home Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
25/06/2011 09:36:04 SETI@home Message from server: Project has no tasks available

I've got loads of gpu units and one cpu work unit. Actually is there anyway to not get cpu units?

Your welcome as allways Mr Marine, nice one glad it seems to be going ok for you am just getting a bit edgy as Mr BaBa sah is putting out some serious results and i need to start getting worried.
Stomped at 45 yr old might as well book a place at the rest home now ;):)

Think you would have to go to your account tab in boinc then seti settings on your accout page and tell it not to use nvidia gpu at least for now, does this mean you guys will free up some work yo help out a poor wu less cruncher lol :D

Cheers guys found it, forgot there was seti preferences as well as the main preferences.

TB is would give you some of my units if I could I have loooooads! :p

How are you guys finding the 6.12.26 client? I only upgraded to it a little while ago and I find it really annoying how the messages log is not on a tab any more.

Also it annoys me if you update your resource share on BAM, and sync in the manager it often changes projects resources to 0, I assume it's because it can't communicate with the project in question but I don't understand why it doesn't just leave it as what it is set at in bam

Anyway mini rant over :)
