Congratulations to Mr BaBa on his magnificent 50,000,000 achievement this week way to go sah and not to be outdone Lord Chasser has racked up 8,500,00 very well done indeed. Dont forget peoples check the Team OcUk link below to see if your crunching efforts have earned you a technicolour marvel for display in this very thread you've earned it so show it off!

Output is on the rise although i guess a dip was to be expected with the christmas period and real life commitments. Tel2 has further cemented his position as king of the hill in the single pc league with Mr kolala putting in a great effort this week, as allways whatever you can contribute is greatfully accepted every unit crunched adds to the glorious rise of Team OcUk. We have come a long way in the last 12 months and providing the end of time does not come about this year a very promising future awaits us all :)

For those still having problems downloading and the like it has been said but it will help if you switch back to 6.10.58 i did and the downloads improved dramatically and with a cc_config file to use all gpu's and have an upper limit of concurrent downloads this little bit of .xml should help.

PHP:
 <cc_config>
  <options>
    <use_all_gpus>1</use_all_gpus>
<max_file_xfers_per_project>8</max_file_xfers_per_project>
  </options>
</cc_config>

Remember to save it as an xml file and name it cc_config.xml dropping it into you Binc Program Data folder. If you are still having problems just post in the thread there is usually someone around to help out we are a team afterall :D

With just a few days remaining of 2011 heres hoping you all have a happy, productive and peacefull new year all the best :D

In non-seti related news i managed to mod my coffee machine this week saving £400 worth of caffeine producing goodness and have my first new year project to hand.

Project Filing Cabinet - it needs sorting badly

Your welcome sah!

I have indeed bypassed the settings and am getting 2-3 xtra bpc though its still a bit on the strong side ..... bpc thats beans per cup :D

Cheers for the news Toxic and the download hints - will give them a go now as I have had trouble downloading for months now and just cant be bothered to constantly babysit it anymore, hence the drop in output
will let you know how I got on

That coffee machine looks like a possible addition to your watercooling setup - now there is a project :-)

Welcome Mr edge sah!
I was getting heartilly sick of babysitting too but just changed back to 6.10.58 and its going ok so far .... oops vlar storm approaching :eek::)

I know not everyone has the time to pour over stuff but a howdydoody everyfew days so we know all is well its a team afterall .... that and i am just a generally gobby and nosey person :eek::o:)

I wish. Infact i may be down to 1 rig soon as i dont think i can justify a new rig atm.
Currently the Q6600 system is trying to implode slowly :rolleyes: Its taking around 5mins of pressing the power button to get it to turn on if it shutsdown which thankfully is very rarely. One of the hdd's in the raid array is showing as failing and has shown errors with chkdsk but it still boots some of the time. It currently seems to be running ok @ stock once i get it started so i've crossed fingers and toes it will last a few months yet while i recover some funds.
The thing is it seems that it could be either 1 of a couple of problems or a combination of 2 or more individual problems making solving it problamatic/expensive. In the long run it would probly be a waste of money chasing a fix for old tech when it could easily cost 50%+ of the cost of a new tech rig.
If anyone has any ideas please feel free to share.

Afternoon Mr Reaver sah!

Mmmm thats a tough one i know if you could go chasing a fix its more money which could go for a new rig but it has to be worth a few quid spent to see if you can fix it on the cheap.
Then again the items could sell seperately and give you a running start at a new set up, not that i am encouraging you to spend money if you cannot afford it but there does come a point when somethings better off put to rest wot wot!
Hope you do find a fix or just have a garage sale n be done with it think Mr Edge sah was pondering tarting his rig up then decided to go for a new setup as the cost ... well similar boat to yourself.
Best of luck and Happy New Year to you sah :)

I might be back end of the week but only running it when I am asleep till I can sort out a few things. :) Silence is golden is a myth can't sleep without the hum from my fans. :D
