I wouldn't worry Mr Iguana. If you can crank up your output to what it was at the end of November I wouldn't have a hope of getting near you. Were you having problems with a 295 not playing nicely, and have you fixed it yet???

Tis all running nicely just lack of work units and stress form my car didn't help so just quit for a bit output won't be at full whack till I can.

I removed the Milkyway@Home project and magically started getting CPU units for SETI. Shame it took me a good month or so to figure out.

Give it a few days and I should have a nice tiffy to show off. I'm not far behind Remos but my poor system doesn't have a chance keeping up with his output. I'm pleased for him, but a bit jealous

Spoke too soon, Hdd is failing and is grinding to a halt so erm yeah.

Need a new drive I think this one is about 3 years old now and never rests so it could do with a change.

Well at least its not a major faulty item like mobo etc if its been used for 3 years at least you had a good run out of it, normally i would have a spare hd i could offer but the prices on them of late is just silly and with other bits needed for my build having spares is a bit of a luxury i cannot afford.
But welcome back Mr Marine hope you get sorted with a new hd sooner rather than later

Me too just a bit tight here too until last insurance payment next month then I'll have a few more bob but not keen on HDD pricing or SSD capacity's so a bit of a waiting game really and hope it just plods along ok till then.

Dont worry.. I cheat. Got a couple of spare units in my rack at work that are free atm... Would much prefere a nice home PC again... But my wife has imposed a "Laptop Only" rule the past year..

I understand the financial reasons but not having a desktop is castration.

Oh well.. soon as the new baby arives i'll start saving for something special.
