Thanks for the offer of help with the news very much appreciated, think have just over-stretched myself this week and trying to keep everything in motion well it just didnt work too well
I have borrowed a gpu for the weekend and will crack on with the news tommorrow chaps sorry for the inconvenience

Been ill then away with work, back now and more trouble with elect bills.
They want to increase my bill to £650 a month
Had to drop out 8 gpu's for the moment to see how this effects my bills

Sould be able to keep about 100k in seti as my 560ti soc rma has turned them into 570's

Well done stomping me in Einstein Mr Halz, its been comming for a while but it still stings

On a better note ive reached world No.1 for rac in CPDN and the team is No.7

We have also stomped the Scotish Boinc team in Milkyway

First things first as long as your on the mend sah thats all that matters!
many congratulations on Cpdn i was watching wondering when it would happen, on the electricity bills i dont think anyone would bat an eyelid if you stepped down your production knowing how much you have allready contributed, sounds as though cpu crunching is paying dividends without a farm full of gpu's. There's allways someone out there ready to take on a few gpu's sah share the workload and save yourself some money and your sanity

It is driving me up the wall as still no cpu Im waiting for the C2 stepping and have a box of hardware I can't do anything with..
I bought some more RAM as it was on special yesterday, so that will take me upto 32GB
All that is left is the CPU and case, was going to go for the CM690, but Im tempted by the corsair 600T, but only if I can find the black one with a window, not a mesh. The white one has a window, but I hate white cases, too apple/ipod for me..
It will be on air cooling for 2-3 months while I save for the watercooling bits and a decent dremel.
How is your build doing - I was watching your log and thought you did very well for your first attempt with water cooling mate, I will be happy if I can do as well as that..

Will waiting for the c2 stepping make much of a difference? Am thick as pancakes when it comes to cpu whatnot.

I honestly dont know how you can sit n gawp at all that awesomeness and not bust it wide open n hook it up.

Mines doing ok am letting my fingers recover from the angle grinding sore as heck As you can see from the pic i only have one gtx 480 but have 3 x gtx470's in the post should be here tommorrow and once its all in and am 100% happy will transfer it all to the sr-2 700d

Must admit am itching to try 2011 am hobbling along with a 920 at the minute and while i have the knack of overclocking better than i used to before am still curious what kind of gains i could see from a sb-e 39 whatever it is go on sell me on it ...mmmmm that and 4 way sli out of the box ... oh noes

m8, the sr2 700d with 3 x 470 on water will be epic!
With that you won't need a sb-e build as the sr2 will beat it hands down.
Sympathy for the hands, I expect to be in a similar situation in a few months as me and power tools is a very dangerous combination..
Im going to adopt a similar trial approach to you

Step 1 build it all in the 600t air cooled and benchmark it..
Step 2, rebuild it in the 600t watercooled, learn the ropes and get some experience
Step 3 upgrade to ivybridge-e in Dec and rebuild into a nice new silverstone case

Step 4 = destroy all bank statements and deny all knowledge to my missus over where my wages are going!

Actually, to be fair she knows the cost of the SB-E build and thinks I am crazy, but I pointed out how much her watch cost, and she accepted it then - knew buying her that watch would come in handy someday

No it wont be an sr-2 in there its just an sr-2 size mobo tray to accomodate any upgradeitus itch i might scratch in the future it'll just be a full wc r3 ex for now ..... sigh
