Marine, I had this the other week, the task was stuck for ages. I found this: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/15515 but it didn't make sense as I had nothing else running (well nothing memory intensive) and my preferences were fine. In the end I aborted it. Hope that is some help.

Its all good now still got the same amount or memory free now its working as when those few didn't run so can't be a memory problem just odd

One less thing to worry about, i still cannot figure out what the problem is with seti lots of work available but i have not been able to build a cache of more than a few hours for a few weeks now.Might have to try sunday service to see if things improve

My downloads are struggling a bit got a few hundred waiting to download but they are taking a while 
Car show was all good got there without a single problem had sun all day got a burnt nose 
. And was able to finally put faces to names of people from the club I belong to was awesome
