Aye its allways a good idea to have backup projects for when seti goes silly, fingers crossed it seems to have evened out in the last week and team rac is climbing :)

That new Evga dual socket thingummybobs has given you ideas i can tell lol

Looks like Rosetta is having server problems, I've no work to do and I'm unable to upload some completed work, lots of pending credit too.

Afternoon hanluc, try switching to seti and doing some crunching with us, it'll keep your pc from freezing up untill Rosetta is sorted and we could use every last cruncher to bust into the top ten in the next few days.:)

FYI - Stats signatures will be back up in the morning.

In the process of doing a full backup, I discovered that Team OcUK had been hacked. :eek:

It happened in May 2008, and dumped a ****load of files into a directory that there was no way for visitors to access, so it proved harmless. All cleaned up now and I think I found the way that they got in back then and shut it permanently. Looks like it may have actually been a hack intended for Wordpress.

For anyone worried, the hack was in the SETI Classic stats which no-one uses now anyway. The BOINC stats were designed from the outset to be immune to the technique they probably used.

Speaking of hacks, the current signature system has a vulnerability, so I'll probably be changing the way it works sometime in the next month or so, which will unfortunately require everyone to update their signatures. I'll provide help and guidance when the time comes. :)

:D:D:D We did it, now that were in the top ten ..... Czech national team next .... and not so long utill we get them too :)

Been stuck in Preston a day longer than expected, just walked in door, naturally damned machines were powered off so just making a cuppa and will get post sorted for today :)
 
I'm suprised anyone noticed it, was just some Astropulse I did on a radeon when Milkyway went down.
They were pending for weeks..........some still are :rolleyes:
