Tried having a quick google but everything comes up the opposite way round.
Have a bunch of files that all have blank date taken fields and I want them to match the date modified. Should be simple surely without going through couple hundred photos manually?
Edit: Im an idiot. 5 more seconds of googling and I found it.
Download Exiftool
exiftool -v "-FileModifyDate>DateTimeOriginal" *
