what's wrong with that? we are the backward country. either you eat meat or you don't and as such any animal is fair game as long as it tastes good and is not endangered. It is absolutely stupid to think any animal is higher than another.

House spiders can't live outside, but they might make it back indoors. So you should put them next to your neighbour's house
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if your sister gets the warm fuzzy feeling of lobbing a lobster in to the channel that good for her.
However next time tell her I have a large lobster tank in my house where they live happily for their whole life*
By lobster tank I mean big pan and by when I say for the whole of their life I mean until I get peckish and lob them in the pan

It really isn't. A Chimpanzee for example is higher than a Cow. Shark is higher than Tuna, etc.
It is stupidity like this that is why the red squirral is almost extinct in britain that our rivers have almost no white clawed crayfish etc.
Did your sister check to make sure the lobster even came from British waters and that it was not imported ?
Lobsters are quite hardy and it would probably survive but at what cost ?
Actually I am pretty certain there is no harm in it and that it would have been caught in uk waters but there hundreds if not thousands of examples of this sort of thing badly upsetting natures balance.
