Hi.. Been looking into setting up three screens or more..

Can anyone let me know if there is an easy way to set it up without getting the specific graphics card like NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 450?

Cheers!

Will you be playing games on this setup?
Do you want each screen to act independently, or as one large screen?

The main types of setup for 3 screens or more are:
- ATI's Eyefinity cards (5xxx series) that support 3 screens so long as at least one of them has a DisplayPort connector (This also gives the option to make the screens act as one large screen)
- Multiple graphics cards (of any type), not in SLi or Crossfire - each card will usually allow 2 monitors to be connected (Screens will not act as one)

Although, if you can get your hand on the elusive active DP to DVI adapter, you can use a DVI monitor for the third.. I wish they'd frigging release them already, they've already been shown off.

What are you planning on doing with them? Desktop work or gaming?

At the moment photo editing Desktop work, but who knows. I prefer to stick with the one larger monitor for gaming.

I'm looking at the HIS ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB, this should work with eyfinity..

Thanks Guys!
