Setting up a Home Server

Has any one got a good guide on the basics of setting up a home server ? googled results are mostly from 2004.
Main use would be filesharing/p2p and maybe the odd game(aware of limited upload speed)

main things to know..

find out the computernames for each computer (and change them to simple things like.. serverpc and kezmopc -for example)

if you're using xp pro on the server, you'll be able to remote desktop into the machine



google 'xp filesharing guide' and 'xp remote desktop guide'

once you fathom that, you'll be flying, it's pretty simple, and is very handy when you get it
