Hi, didn't know where else to post this so thought here first.

Basically I want to set-up my PC so that I can use it from a distance to play films and music. I currently run Windows 7 and I was wondering what I would need. E.g. Remote? I was looking at this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=KB-001-KE ------ Does anyone know if I need to add anything extra to my pc, like a wireless card ?

That's a rubbish keyboard, stay away from it. A Wireless card is for connecting to the internet, and i suppose you already have a wireless adapter for that purpose so i doubt it. They should come with a USB dongle that connects them.

Could you recommend a keyboard/mouse or remote?

How much would you be willing to spend? I think OCUK has limited stock on these items though, so i could just give you a model and then you can find it elsewhere if it's not on the site. So yeah, budget?

budget of about... £50 (I have no wireless connections or anything attatched to my case or inside of it).

I would recommend this:

Toughball Wireless Keyboard

I was going to get one a while ago, rubberised keys, well made... as long as you can get used to the trackball/click arrangement on opposite sides it should be perfect.

Wait... are you connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable? Like, is there a cable coming out of a square socket on the back and going into a router?

Yep, connected by ethernet cable.
