At the moment I’m just feeling about to try and work out if what I want is possible.
Basically my brother has moved to Hong Kong for work recently, he asked me if id be prepared to set up a Proxy Server for him to allow him to watch things like Iplayer and c4OD which only allow UK viewers to see. Initially I said yes. However upon further consideration I’m not willing to run a public proxy, as i don’t want random people to be able to use my bandwidth and i certainly don’t want to allow them to view things they shouldn’t be viewing with anonymity.
So my question is this can you set up a private proxy, one that i can restrict access to my brother? Any suggestions or relevant info would be greatly appreciated.
