Hey,

I've finally decided I need to bite the bullet and stick up a site!

Where/What are people using at the minute?

Ideally I'd like roughly 5 or so pages, and a few galleries, facebook integration would be great but not a specific requirement.

Are there any good examples I could be pointed towards?

Cheers guys :)

I do know a bit of HTML, and I *could* code a page, but I'd prefer to opt for a template.

I'd obviously want it to look pretty professional.

I've got a tumblr at the minute and I like how that auto updates my facebook feed, I've got a facebook profile purely for photography.

I'm about to buy a domain tonight from godaddy, anybody use them?

I don't know if I fancy a shopping cart, I know there is room to sell images etc but right now I want to concentrate on commissions and the like.

The problem being facebook is great for networking and showcasing, nearly everybody has it right?! Wrong! I've got a few people who are interested but don't have facebook/can't get access to it so want to look at my work on my own website.

Don't use Godaddy, they're crap.

Namecheap is the best one I've used, got quite a few domains with them at the moment. The domains seem to propagate really quickly too.

What make them crap? I don't know much about domains...

I've had problems with the before and so have a few people I know. There's a website here that talks about the service: http://nodaddy.com/

I personally use NameCheap and they are great :)

Ok, I'll have a look later tonight at them see if I can get one.

Thanks for everyones help so far, I'll keep you updated with progress.
Looking more and more like Wordpress, would you pay for a template? Any recommended ones which would be suitable for photography?
