Setting up a wireless xbox 360 controller help please!!

I have just bought and installed NFS Hot Pursuit as well as buying a xbox 360 wireless receiver.
Can someone explain to me what drivers i need for the reciever etc so i can use it to play NFS.

What operating system are you using?

I thought Xbox controllers worked plug 'n' play with Windows 7..
At least my wired one did anyway.

A lot of games seem to pick up the controls automatically when using a 360 pad. Might be the case with NFS.

Oh yeah, NFS automatically sorts you out the buttons..

Make sure the controller is plugged in before you start, and it will be basically the xbox version of the game (control menus with controller etc, rumble will work properly)

From what I remember the software on the disc doesn't work with windows 7 at least mine didn't.

Goto

Select O/S etc and get the driver package.
