Got all my bits through this afternoon, PC is now fully built and I'm about to install Vista X64.

What's the process for installing using RAID? I went in the BIOS and set everything to RAID, does that now mean i'm good to go or should I be doing something else? I haven't told it to be a particular type of raid like 0 or 5 or whatever.

Do I need to make the RAID driver disk using a floppy drive for Vista to pick up the intel controller or does it already have the appropriate drivers to pick it up? It's just that I don't own a floppy drive anymore, who does??

Setup is
Abit IP35 Pro
4 x 500gb Western Digital SATA 2 drives (in sata ports 1-4)

cheers!

You need to create the RAID array first in the RAID BIOS, there will be a splash screen after the main BIOS splash during the POST.

Once you've got the array setup then install Vista as normal, I'm not sure if it can use built in drivers with an ICH9R based array but if not you can give the installer the drivers at the point where you pick the install location. No need to put them on a floppy, the installer can read from USB drives, CDs etc.
