setting up sharp ht-cn300h

hi,

my brother has got his hands on one of these and is trying to connect it to his tv, but is failing

i took a look at it and all their is to connect it to the tv is a yellow composite cable, which is for video?

shouldnt there be a red and white cables?? i have never set a surround sound up before so could be wrong?

could anyone help me?
