setting up xfire?

The cards themselves will come with the Crossfire bridge each (it's like a bronzy orange colour plastic ribbon cable).

All that's left is to verify they are seated correctly in the motherboard, all power cables connected.
Within Catalyst Control Centre, head to 'Crossfire' and tick the box. From now on you'll only see 1 GFX card as it's the Master, the slave co-exists in the background and only get's used when needed.

ok, cheers for that,
just my mate recieved his PC order today and got the 5650 card, but didnt get any bridge with his... so im abit confused

some cards come with them, some don't.

there's plenty around if you look, i might even have a spare....

There is no 5650, there are 5750's the card you linked to is a 5770 but crossfire is done in the same way no matter.

You will need to use a crossfire bridge.

The orangey looking things linking the two cards together with crossfire blazed across them, only 1 is needed for 2 cards, 1 comes in each of the boxes the cards came in if he didn't get them call whoever built it and ask for them.

Iirc the Catalyst control center auto detected the cards and already ticked the box for me all i had to do was hit ok and off i went. If yours doesn't simply download the latest cats 9.12 and install open the control center goto CrossfireX and tick the box, hit apply and ok :)

ahh.. ok.. like for those people that like to wear 'you're going to die', and 'if i look at you you will be raped') t-shirts etc..? why else would you be different and mad :P

Im a righty, and im guessing you're a lefty jeffy, else there's no flipping reason why you want your computer backwards

Becase putting the hot cpu at the bottom in the coolest air makes sense to me, as does my next case the ft02 :)+
Its the rest of you are fooled by normality, who in their right mind would put the cpu that high?

Im not a lefty although my fatner and my daughter are, i also tend to think outside the box. Why i don't work in an office and instead do fly by wire live every day in west end theatre and love every minute of it :P

very true there, but think.. try making a cup of coffee with your hands behind your back.. or w@nk with your left hand haha.. it just seems very very wrong
most cases now, arent PSUs at the bottom? but right side round :P

I thought people used thier left hands for special occasions ;)

Its distinctly cooler in the bottom of my case, i will move to a ft02 in the new year and use natural thermal dynamics and not work against them, also a pretty quiet case, 180mm slow fans and all.

and doesnt special mean retarded a lot of the time? so if doing it the other way is 'special/retarded' hmm.. maybe you want to prove a point :P

just some guesswork in science here, but wouldn't the cpu at the top allow mavity to pull down those micro electric particles ensuring a couple of 0.03ms extra speed or so?

Have had the case for near 5 years through amd64, conroe, qx9xxx and i7 and temp are fantastic and allowed me some great air overclocks. If you have never tried an inverted case you wont know, or to scared to try something different :P

I cannot wait to get my silverstone ft02 and go 90 degress over 180 :P
