Settings for an SSHD?

I'll be cloning my laptop HDD later over to a new SSHD. I've only run pure SSD's or HDD's in the past, never a hybrid. What's the best setup in terms of disabling/enabling Prefetch, TRIM, so on and so forth?

OS is Win 8.1 64bit.

trim will be enabled automatically

you need the sata ports in ahci mode,not sure how to do a reg tweak on win8 if originally installed in ide mode you'll need to do clean install

but pretty sure theres a work around

Already in AHCI as the move to SSHD was planned when I set up.

Any view on prefetch? Cheers.

Just install it as you would a normal HDD, the solid state cache is handled by the software on the drive.

its upto you if you wanna disable prefetch,ive never messed with that tbh
