Settle an argument - did He-Man have a dog?

On a technicality, no.

"Prince Adam's pet is a cowardly green tiger named Cringer. When Adam changes to He-Man, Cringer becomes a giant (and brave) armored green tiger named Battle Cat when filled with the magical power cast from He-Man's sword. Battle Cat also serves as He-Man's steed and fierce fighting companion."

Daughter having an argument with somebody and Google is no help

thanks
As Prince Adam he had a large cat caller cringer = when in He -Man this became Battle Cat.

As far as I know thats it but will ask him about the dog next time I see him ;)

#edit dag nammit to slow.

Nope, as other have said he had a cat, not a dog. Unless there was one really obscure episode where he got a dog.

Daughter says thanks.
Apparently a college boy friend said he won't talk to her again unless she tells him the name of his dog.
She's just texted - "Trick question he had a cat".

The question's been answered multiple times... but hey.. my post count needs a boost.

He had a large tiger-like thing named cringer, or when it transformed with prince adam it was called battle cat!

*on second thoughts I'll remove that link... I don't want to OCUK their site. But you can find old cartoon theme tunes and stuff, including he-man at www.80scartoons.co.uk

For all your smug answers when it comes to arguments:

Anyway, he has a cat as all super cool strong men do. Remember kids always pick up broken glass with a paper towel (that was the New He-Man though. Wimp couldn't pick a mountain top up or glass with his bare fingers!)

I had battle cat, he-man and castle grey skull in the 80s. Quality toys they were, very camp cartoon though back then.
My brother has a He-man and Battle Cat toy. It's from the recent He Man series though but he wants to get hold of an original one. We had them when we were kids, but we didn't really look after our toys :p
