Based on what I assume the picture is supposed to represent on the car, the background colour is black and the foreground colour is pinky purple so the car is black.

I should be shot for trying to fry my own brain this time of night but here goes...

As spoffle says look to the predominant colour ... but supposing it was a perfect square exactly 50% white in colour and 50% black in colour which would then be the "predominant" colour?

It would be white right? as black is the absence of colour... I do believe I have just answered my own question I have been on me own toooo long
