Severance

Tbf, he did say he didn't watch it properly. I did wonder how he knew he wasn't missing something important?
Watching 2x speed, I can still follow what's happening, which wasn't a great amount. There was one episode in season 2 I completely skipped as it was boring AF, I don't care about her characters background at all. Maybe it's relevant later on. Felt like a filler episode tbh. :)

Season 3 will probably reset everything with a six episode explanation. I enjoy the shows weirdness, but storyline is somewhat circler.

Surely Mark and Helly can't stay in the severed floor forever since they're likely to be chased. As soon as Mark goes back up top he'll know that Gemma was rescued!

Season 3 I think has been confirmed thankfully as I didn't like the open ended S2 ending because it feels really illogical to me. Or am I missing something fundamental?

Someone help my brain!

I believe that season 3 may start with missing scenes from those final events that will make things much more clear. Like they kept pieces of the puzzel back on purpose.
My theory is that somehow Helly was switched to Helena and Mark is unknowingly running with her at the end. That may seem far fetched but this show throws some odd curve balls.

Oh now that's a fun idea !
