Just been watching this show:

The Joy of Teen Sex
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-joy-of-teen-sex/4od#3158554

Before you ask, yes I watched it because it said it had nudity...

but...

Some of the advice given to teenagers shocked me. I wonder what you guys think.

Example 1.
Gay guy says "I'm scared it'll hurt to take it from a guy".
Advice is "Use lube"

Example 2.
Lesbian says "I don't know what to do with a girl in bed".
Advice is "Here have a strap-on".

Is it just me who thinks this isn't the right stuff to say to teens?

Better getting it from a sex adivce lady than from dirty old mick that hides in the bushes at the local park.

OK, I tried to watch this to find out what age the teens in it are. I reach the first 10 seconds where they said by the age of 16 the average teenage has slept with 3 people and burst out laughing. Where do they get these figures?

Out of a hat? Can't be true, if only to preserve my self esteem.:o Maybe they went to a park one friday night and asked a load of 16 year olds boys in front of their friends?

I watched some of this when it was on last week out of curiosity (face it C4 has some very "interesting" ways of presenting shows like this...:p) and I found it very odd, but then it is channel 4.

What I want to know is when was it deemed appropriate to show full "womans appendages" shots on terrestrial TV? It was only a couple of years ago when there was a show that got away with it due to showing surgery on one! This show had a woman browsing through a hardcore porn mag (with everything visible) and then a up legs shot of some teen having a full bikini wax (what kind of teenager wants to show her bejingo fully on TV having a wax?).

Yeah I've seen it all before but it was a bit odd seeing it on a terrestrial channel.:p
