sexual harassment (related to the recent C4 undercover program)

I was hoping you would say why you think its interesting, those types of creepy men exist, and she is trying to lure them, it works.

yep - this is somewhat the remit of edgy/baitey/viral channel 4 , this kind of programme may create unjustified fear in women, clip women could have been assertive - that's my reproach.
the previous teenager anonymous survey was, too, a case in point where second hand incidence of harassment were included.

Bigger picture ? facts/statistics of male versus female harassment, where UK is equally bad as europe, nonetheless, sadly, 3x worse sexual harassment for women

While the prevalence of harassment is similar for women and men, 18 % of women described the most recent incident of harassment as being of a sexual nature, compared with 6 % of men.

Overall, two in five people (41 %) in the EU-27 experienced harassment (one or more acts) in the five years before the survey, and 29 % experienced it in the 12 months before the survey. That corresponds to almost 110 million people in the EU-2749 experiencing harassment in a year (an estimate based on the results of the survey relative to the EU’s population)

I watched the documentary last night, it was both unsurprising and eye opening at the same time the way it's pretty well highlighted that this sort of thing is an organised thing between groups of men. and the fact that they all asked her if she liked taxis leads one to assume that some cabbies are in on it too.

I doubt it, I don't think there is some big conspiracy here, this is just guys being creepy, the taxi thing is simply them wanting to take her home, not them paying to have some specific kidnap taxi on standby or indeed a rapey taxi driver mate who is willing to forego a whole evening of earnings by waiting and hoping they're able to lure a drunk girl back.

Just one minor point though, when she was creating her dating profile pictures, she used a bunch of beachwear photos. naturally that is only ever going to immediately attract the creeps, which was then evidenced immediately by the tens of matches that happened and the dong pics that got sent... Although I guess the reason for those pics was to attract those very people so there was some material to start the docu with.

Yup, I think that whole section was a bit iffy, she also needed to set the age range to see those older guys and proactively match with them, we don't see what their profiles are like either, if you're an apparent 18-year-old in a bikini and proactively match with a 45-year-old self-proclaimed sugar daddy looking for hookups then what sort of messages do you expect... (not that the unsolicited genitalia pics are acceptable).

The journalist was right though to ask why the countless police on patrol in both cities those nights, not one of them approached her to ask if all was ok, they just lingered around talking amongst themselves, even as she walked right past them with the creeper guy following... Seems the beat staff don't really have the eye to spot dodgy activities, or don't care to in general.

I don't think there was anything inherently obvious when she's just bumbling past them as a random drunk person, she's not obviously completely wasted or unable to walk etc. if she were in a worse state then sure, I'd agree but I think the police in Leicester square at night see people like that every few seconds. It wasn't exactly normal behaviou either, someone who is a bit drunk like that could have course ask for help, be more direct or not lead the creeper back to the hotel. It simply illustrates the creeps are out there for the purposes of the documentary and the worrying thing re: Liverpool was what if it was a girl who was even more drunk and couldn't be direct to tell the guy to get out, but clearly some of the behaviour was to try and get results for TV, to not try and actively discourage them, but just passively respond and give them no positive affirmations so we can see how persistent some of the creeps get.
