No such thing as hot gamer girls, any "Hot gamer girls" are hot girls first that like to play up the gaming aspect to get virgins excited to get hits on Youtube

Real girl gamers look like gaming boys with lady parts but you can't hardly tell

Had a brief fling with a girl I met via online gaming years ago, don't think her fiance ever found out either. Was an enjoyable few months though :)

It can and does happen though, playing games especially MMOs you can spend more time with your guild mates than your partners etc and the banter can get out of control a bit at times.

I gained a lot of XP, dinged a few levels etc etc. Much woo, lots sexiness, *thud*

PS I was single at the time btw..

Actually is it time we had another anonymous confessions thread again? Those were hilarious and I've got a feeling more people have done this than admit to it.. Half my mates who are now married met their partners online, many of them via games.
 
Meet someone online, get chatting/playing together for a while, it later becomes a bit sexy -> not impossible, can be a good thing..

Random stranger making their avatar do 'sexy' at yours... creepy at best, ignore it.

I fully understand how halfmad arrived in the situation he did , i used to play a LOT of eve online and got to know people personally through it although not at a relationship level but friendship

When I was temp guild leader/raid leader of the WoW guild in TBC/LK I had one female guildy do a similar thing. Although I think a fair amount of that was banter related. On vent everyone would just abuse her saying she was a man just using a voice modulator :p

After which I got a very odd email (all guildies at the time had my email address) With some pictures and a video and a little bit of text, initially I thought pfft sod opening any of this will deffo be a virus. So I dismissed it. Next raid night she /w me asking if I got her email. I told her I thought it was a virus so didn't look at any of it. She told me to check it once we hit raid break time. So I did it thought sod it if it’s a virus I can sort it out. Low behold it was some pictures of a rather nice naked women and the video was.... well revealing. I chose to ignore it thinking I can fap later to it :p got a raid to finish ! We down one of the Naxx bosses and I get another /w from her asking me what I thought. Well we got the boss down been a good night. She then pressed and said no I meant about the pics and video. I then bantered her more just saying I'm sure you just found them on the internet and sent them too me. She kinda went on a rant about how she can prove to me she was actually a girl. So I said if you take a picture of yourself holding a sign with the guild name and your char's name whilst naked I will believe you. The silly girl only went ahead and did it :eek: I felt rather bad afterwards :( But at the same time :D

After that night she would send me a pic or two before raid time and always ask me about it in game it was all very odd.

I miss WoW :(
 
The thing about The Secret World is it seems people can wander around wearing anything or lack of. The avatar that approached me was in a bikini, but you quite often get naughty nurse type and bondage police women avatars etc running past.
 
Methinks this thread could make Thread of the Year if it keeps on and if it gets any weirder or funnier I could sell it to a newspaper as being traumatised after the event, since it was a bloke. I'd better send a sick note in to work .

Sounds like a typical attention whore; you held a position of status so she craved attention / wanted to have some sort of sense of 'control' over you (i.e. getting you to look at her pics and engage in conversation about them)

As for the topic in general this sort of thing goes on a lot especially now the internet is so mainstream and contrary to 90s fable, the 'girls' are not always middle-aged axe-murderers from Texas. One of my friends met his Ex in an online game about 10 years ago or so, she was quite nice and fairly attractive but with some sort of complex. A couple of months after they split up she randomly phoned me up out of the blue (we'd had no contact during that time) and asked if I wanted to come and look at a Landrover?!? :confused:

edit: My sister used to game a lot as well, she played/adminned a hardcore MUD and had a guy come over from America to meet her a couple of times. I think he was quite besotted but I don't think the feelings were reciprocated (she had Asperger's, so probably missed a lot of the signals).

If you think about it online propositions are probably the only way some shy people can be so forward, people feel much bolder. Just look at internet dating, even the geeks who never go out to bars and clubs and don't have a clue how to approach women in person are knee-deep in fanny now due to being able to make online approaches.

In Everquest (10 years ago) one of our server's most famous clerics, a cute US girl, wanted to send pictures of herself and started calling me mid-raid on the phone.

She only wanted to talk dirty when she was supposed to be CH rotation in Sleepers Tomb!!

I gave her access to our guild site ftp to upload the pictures and she was pretty hot in the pictures she added.

A few weeks later I got a tell from our guild leader: "I see you got those pictures of her too". It transpired that she had been hooking up with many notable players on our server around the east coast of the US over a 2 year period.

Last I heard she had married our Ranger class leader.
