Streacom F7C Silver Home Theatre Aluminium Chassis is the case one i am looking at now.

Got to decide on what to put in it now. Did have a CPU but brother has 'borrowed' that now!!

Need help with the spec. Needs to be cheap but have 4gig ram, min dual core CPU, prob 160w Pico. Got a 2.5 HDD already. Got an OS.

What mobo and CPU would you guys recommend? I will also need a low Heatsink and fan too.

Seen that build. Nice spec but wouldnt the i3 system be a better move? Also, a low profile, 'silent' fan would be a good option as the fanless case is quite a bit more than the standard case?

Right, decided to go ahead and build a small itx system.

Spec:

The Streacom F7C (non-fanless) Silver
Intel Core i3-2120 3.30GHz
Asus P8H61-I Intel H61 (Socket 1155)
4gig DDR3 Ram
250gig 2.5 Sata Hard drive
160w Pico PSU and power brick

I need a suitable DVDWriter to fit properly and also a low profile Heatsink and fan that will be both quiet and efficient. Any advice on those 2?

Also, will my above spec me a good combination of nice PC speed, low power outage and silent system?

I wont be doing much if any gaming. It will be used for general PC stuff and photo manipulation.

Thanks

Right guys.

Going to order later. Is this spec ok? I will be using it for Photoshop mainly and general pc stuff but no game:

Spec:

Before i press the buy button, the Asus P8H77-I is a good board with Intel controller for the Sata3 6g?

These 2 go together ok and the Sata 3 6g controller is Intel?

Asus P8H77-I Intel H77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 MiniITX Motherboard
