I have a new NAS with a 10GbE port and a YuanLey switch with two SFP+ ports plus eight 2.5GbE.
I've verified the NAS port runs at 10Gb/s by wiring it to the 10GbE port on my old Netgear switch. It also works at 2.5Gb/s when wired to a 2.5GbE port on the YuanLey.
I've verified both YuanLey SFP+ ports work by connecting them in turn via DAC cable to the SFP+ port on the Netgear.
I now want to connect the NAS to the YuanLey switch at 10Gb/s. I have two 10GbE SFP+ transceivers - one from 6COM for Netgear, used on my Netgear switch so known to be good and one from Qsefptek that says its for Cisco - neither of these will work with the YuanLey switch, the NAS just does not connect.
So has anyone found a SFP+ to RJ45 transceiver that works with these generic Chinese switches? Or any ideas on which target brand is likely to be compatible?
