I started Overclocking my 8800GT last night (large cooler fitted by Asus), and So far I've managed the following speeds:
GPU - 670mhz
Memory - 2000mhz
Shader - 1600mhz
So far I've only seen temperatures of 63 degrees and below. How far will I be able to go before things start to get critical? Will the temperature increase quickly? I'm just concerned I'm going to do damage despite the low temps.

though it wouldn't be to good for the life expectancy of the card at that temp.
Don't worry about damaging your card when overclocking, your limited by the volts on the GT as how far you can clock it and increasing the volts is really the only way you can damage it.
