Shader unlock success?

Anyone tried unlocking the shaders on the OcUK 6950?

I'm going to get a pair of them anyway, was just curious if I should expect to be unlocking both/one/neither.

I know that much, but I don't know if the OcUK is ref, so I was asking anyone who'd tried with it

Man up and buy 2 x 6970s!

I've had both a 6950 and 6970 (both DCII's), and I'll be honest - the 6950 was quicker - it overclocked MUCH higher, just a shame I couldn't unlock it. At stock, the 6970 was maybe 2fps up on the 6950 - can't see the justification for spending the extra £60 or so.

It doesn't bother me if I can't unlock the 6950s, I was just curious on the chances of it happening with the current cards.

Thanks for the info Rroff, I didn't know that's what the OcUK cards were.
